About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute manual testing (exploratory, functional, regression) and manage defects through resolution
Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (Playwright), progressively replacing manual regression
Define and evolve test strategy, quality gates, and CI/CD integration
Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams on requirements, acceptance criteria, and test planning
Identify risks early and ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle
Mentor team members on automation and QA best practices, helping uplift overall capability
Partner with QA Lead to drive transition toward automation-first testing practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong QA fundamentals across manual and automation testing
Hands-on experience with Playwright (or Cypress/Selenium with ability to ramp)
Experience building automation in low-maturity/greenfield environments
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
Solid understanding of web applications and API testing
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Familiarity with TDD and feature-flag-driven development (Nice to have)
Experience with AI-assisted testing/development tools (Nice to have)
Exposure to audit/compliance domains (Nice to have)
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (Nice to have)
Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams
5+ years in QA / Software Quality Engineering
3+ years in test automation development
2+ years with modern E2E frameworks (Playwright/Cypress/Selenium)
Experience building or scaling automation in low-coverage environments
Experience testing full-stack applications (UI, API, integration)
