About the role

  • Own product strategy for MealSuite Dining (POS, Portal, Ordering, Self-Serve Kiosk) and drive strategic growth and innovation
  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities for Culinary product expansion; prioritize initiatives and create actionable plans to increase adoption and upsell
  • Monitor qualitative and quantitative product performance and adoption; use data to inform decisions
  • Lead discovery and feature leadership within the Dining domain; deeply understand user needs and operational workflows
  • Track competitive landscape and partner ecosystem; act as domain expert on external tools and integrations
  • Lead multidisciplinary Product team (Product Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers) and collaborate with delivery teams
  • Forge cross-functional relationships across Sales, Marketing, CX, Support, partners, customers, and external stakeholders
  • Create business cases, prioritize using value vs effort frameworks, and guide long-term product vision
  • Manage team operations, oversee collaboration with dev teams, escalate risks and blockers
  • Design accessible, intuitive experiences across mobile, tablet, kiosks, and handhelds for senior living (considering mobility, vision, memory, motor skills)
  • Mentor and develop Product Managers, UX Designers, and Product Owners; report to Vice President, Product
  • Work in-office up to 2 days per week (Cambridge, ON or Dallas, TX)

Requirements

  • Familiarity with daily routines and needs of residents/patients and dining services staff
  • Deep knowledge of interaction design and hardware/software integration (mobile, tablets, kiosks, printers, RFID, etc.)
  • Experience leading cross-functional product teams including Product Managers, UX Designers, and Product Owners
  • Understanding of SaaS business strategy, including pricing, go-to-market, and value analysis
  • Experience in product road-mapping and prioritization frameworks
  • Worked as dining staff in senior living or acute care (1+ years)
  • Led product teams directly (3+ years)
  • Made strategic product decisions (2+ years)
  • Worked in external-facing roles with customers and partners (2+ years)
  • Built strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a technical field
  • Willingness to occasionally travel and valid passport with ability to cross Canada/USA (and Vietnam if required)
