About the role

  • Own end-to-end product strategy for the Culinary portfolio and translate strategic objectives into roadmaps
  • Lead discovery and innovation across Culinary domain, understanding user needs and kitchen workflows
  • Define, deliver, and iterate on features spanning menu planning, ingredient sourcing, production, inventory, and waste
  • Track qualitative and quantitative performance of products and features for market insights
  • Monitor competitive landscape and partner ecosystem to inform product direction
  • Drive Culinary product growth across Recipes & Menus, Production, Inventory, and Waste to improve meal consumption and resident satisfaction
  • Lead and align a multidisciplinary team of Product Managers, Product Owners, and UX Designers
  • Collaborate with delivery/engineering teams for estimations and agile execution
  • Create business cases, prioritize using value vs. effort frameworks, and set long-term product vision
  • Forge cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, CX, Support, partners, customers, and external stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder communication, triage requests, escalate blockers, and align expectations with engineering leads

Requirements

  • Knowledge of culinary workflows and operations, particularly in senior living or healthcare environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, culinary, or technical fields (stated as the route to gain knowledge)
  • 7+ years in SaaS (B2B/B2C)
  • 3+ years in culinary-related fields
  • Experience leading cross-functional product teams and strategic decision-making
  • Certifications or experience in product management, UX, or business development (a plus)
  • Experience with roadmapping tools, go-to-market strategies, and business case development
  • Familiarity with in-kitchen users—chefs, foodservice managers, and culinary experts
  • Exceptional stakeholder communication and objection-handling skills
  • Passion for leveraging AI to improve kitchen operational efficiency
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive product strategy, and deliver results
  • Willingness to occasionally travel and have a valid passport with no cross-border travel restrictions between Canada, USA (and Vietnam if required)
  • Thrives in an agile, constantly changing environment and values collaboration
