About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including negotiation, contracting, and onboarding, ensuring alignment with internal policies and SOX compliance
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, identify cost-saving opportunities, and deliver procurement solutions that add long-term value
- Oversee and optimize the use of procurement platforms, including Tipalti and NetSuite, to improve automation, reporting, and spend visibility
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure vendor contracts align with corporate policies and risk mitigation strategies
- Support the development of procurement policies and procedures, ensuring scalability and best-in-class governance
- Lead RFPs/RFQs and drive competitive sourcing processes in collaboration with business owners
- Build strong internal partnerships with scientific and clinical teams to understand upcoming needs and proactively manage procurement pipelines
- Provide category-specific market intelligence and cost benchmarking to support strategic decisions
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement processes, reduce costs, and mitigate supply risks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 3–6 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 2-3 years in the Life Sciences sector
- Experience working in a public company environment and familiarity with SOX compliance
- Strong technical experience with procurement systems, like Tipalti, and NetSuite ERP systems
- Experience in vendor risk management and working with cross-functional legal, finance, and compliance teams
