About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Obtain insurance quotes by sending required data and information to insurers to find the best insurance options that fully meet the policyholder's needs.
  • Prepare a proposal letter for the policyholder by presenting all necessary information about the insurance to show the best options that fully meet the policyholder's needs.
  • Prepare policy issuance requests by submitting them to insurers to formalize risk acceptance within the timeframe desired by the policyholder.
  • Analyze incoming requests for new insurance quotes and/or renewals (individual/personal policies) by reviewing requests to identify the risk profile.
  • Review proposals received from insurers by analyzing policy values and conditions to compare available insurance options, identify essential coverages, and determine the best cost-benefit solution for the policyholder.
  • Send the policy and payment slip (boleto) to the policyholder using systems and electronic tools (email) to ensure the policyholder is aware of all their rights and obligations regarding the purchased insurance.
  • Ensure accurate registration of data and information for issued policies using systems and electronic tools to maintain organized and reliable records for consultation and further activities.
  • Perform other related professional activities inherent to the role, as needed, through training, professional qualification and guidance from the immediate supervisor to ensure continuous professional development.
  • Search the insurance market to obtain the best placement for lower-complexity client risks—considering criticality, size, revenue and political relationships—by negotiating to deliver the best financial and technical solution and preparing a technical, commercial and consultative comparison for the client.
  • Provide necessary support and assistance to other departments by supplying data and information to ensure continuity of processes and task execution.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Insurance or related fields
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Property (asset) risks, Fleet, Property, Civil Liability, Infrastructure, Marine, Aviation and/or Transportation insurance lines
  • Experience in the insurance sector with risk placement, new policies and/or policy renewals
  • Customer-focused, professional, collaborative, innovative, analytically capable, organized and with planning skills
