About the role
- Develop IT governance policies, procedures and workflows in alignment with the company’s objectives and values by defining parameters, guardrails and guidelines to reduce risk and optimize operations.
- Monitor IT processes by analyzing metrics and indicators to determine whether expected results were achieved and make decisions based on the assessment.
- Perform impact analyses of changes to the technology environment by monitoring Change Management (GMUD) processes to focus efforts on delivering business value and mitigating risks and downtime.
- Prepare the annual budget plan aligned with the company strategy by defining actions, tools and controls to understand, organize and manage technology resources, ensuring appropriate use of the company’s financial resources during the fiscal year.
- Prepare reports and/or presentations with IT governance indicators by organizing data, information and quantitative and qualitative analyses to support decision-making by senior management and/or the Board.
- Document the implementation of IT governance projects by presenting information objectively, categorically and visually to create a shared, transparent understanding for the business.
- Identify improvement opportunities through process mappings carried out during the execution of processes and application of procedures and workflows, suggesting actions that enable continuous improvement in operational performance.
- Perform other related professional activities inherent to the role as required by the area’s needs and/or demand, through training, professional qualification and guidance from the immediate manager, to ensure continuous professional development as a learning opportunity and in accordance with area requirements.
- Actively contribute to the development of performance indicators (KPIs), objectives and key results (OKRs) and new company projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or related fields
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Advanced level of English
- Preferred: knowledge and/or certification in COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001
- Professional experience in governance, including KPI management, report development and presentation
