What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/Insurance & Risk Management Operations/Logistics specialization preferred
Transcriptionist diploma or certificate required
1-3 years of prior experience in the transcription industry (insurance or related field considered a strong asset)
Good knowledge of property and casualty insurance terminology (strong asset)
Excellent written English listening, typing, and proofreading skills
Typing speed of 60+ WPM with high accuracy
Professional discretion and attention to detail
