Processing Client and Office receipts, payments and transfers under multiple currencies and jurisdictions (SRA, LSI & LSNI) across multiple ERP’s
Daily Bank Reconciliations and maintenance of accurate cashbook records
Mailbox management dealing with complex ledger queries
Assisting with Audits & Inspections
Acting support for Finance Assistants and Assistant Cashiers
Suspense Account maintenance
Monitoring Client account balances and ensuring funds are managed in line with regulations
Contributing to process improvements
Working 35 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location Bolton Parklands. Hybrid role agile working policy in place to suit business need.
Requirements
Experience working as a Legal Cashier within a Law Firm
Strong knowledge of SRA, LSNI & LSI Rules
Ability to work under pressure, excellent time management skills and ability to meet agreed deadlines
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience of all Microsoft packages
Proficiency in Legal Accounting software
Customer Service - Ability to manage a high volume workload and demonstrate proactivity and initiative whilst delivering a first class customer experience.
Problem Solving - Ability to resolve queries and deliver sound results whilst under tight deadlines with strict adherence to various timelines.
