About the role
- We're on the lookout for a Third Party Risk Manager. As a Third Party Risk Manager, you will lead the development and execution of our third-party risk management framework.
- Conducting risk assessments and due diligence on vendors and partners.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Collaborating with procurement, legal, and IT teams to identify and mitigate risks.
- Monitoring vendor performance and risk exposure throughout the lifecycle.
- Reporting on third-party risk metrics to senior leadership.
- Managing remediation plans and escalation processes for high-risk vendors.
- This role is a full-time remote position. Occasional travel may be required for vendor audits or team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or vendor oversight.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proficiency in risk management platforms and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through the preparation of reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Customer service orientation, with a track record of resolving client issues efficiently and effectively.
