About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the primary technical interface to the customer and represent customer-specific technical concerns and interests within MD.
Prepare and evaluate customer inquiries from a technical perspective.
Define and specify technical solutions that meet customer requirements and MD standards.
Represent the customer's technical perspective in MD projects (R&D projects, programs, ramp-ups).
Maintain and develop the technical interface with the customer, including deepening knowledge of the customer's technical roadmaps and future requirements.
Support the sales team in acquisition activities and ongoing customer support with your technical expertise.
Apply your product and process knowledge to ensure technically robust and manufacturable solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical university degree or equivalent technical/administrative qualification.
3–5 years of professional experience in a technically oriented customer-facing role, preferably in the automotive sector.
Extensive product knowledge and understanding of application engineering processes.
Experience with automotive processes and standards.
Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications.
CAD skills for understanding and discussing technical designs.
Excellent communication skills in the local language and in English.
