Key Account Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop long term customer relationships at different levels to promote, sell and win the design-in of MD products
- Cultivate a regular schedule of meetings with customer’s purchasing, engineering, and Quality departments
- Generate reports and perform forecasting as required
- Handling of RFQ’s, including pricing calculations and quotation tracking
- Provide cost breakdown
- Review contracts
- Maintain accurate price history
- Align and execute account strategies in-line with global account strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree in business administration or electrical engineering
- 3+ years of related automotive industry account management experience
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge especially MS Excel and Power Point
- Analytic thinking
- Great communication skills
- Efficient and independent working style
- Ability to prioritize while maintaining a diverse workload
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Understanding of the automotive electronics industry
- Experienced in selling to OEM from Tier 1 or Tier 2 level required
