About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams across technology training, service desk, and cloud and infrastructure operations
  • Foster accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence
  • Partner with the CIO on operational priorities, budgets, and technology roadmaps
  • Oversee delivery and adoption of technology initiatives and organizational change management
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service level performance
  • Define, monitor, and report technology operations KPIs and SLAs
  • Lead workforce planning, hiring, employee development, and succession planning
  • Liaise between IT and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational needs
  • Drive automation and AI-enabled operational improvements
  • Ensure technology onboarding, user training, and ongoing educational programs
  • Oversee responsive end-user support and improvement of the IT service management program
  • Guide cloud infrastructure strategy, network operations, security, disaster recovery, business continuity, endpoint management, and compliance initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
  • Experience in strategic planning, project management, and process improvement
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development capabilities
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
  • Service-oriented mindset focused on exceptional user experience
  • Working knowledge of enterprise networking, virtualization, endpoint management, and information security best practices
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, network technologies, conference systems, and security foundations
  • Proven success managing SLAs, KPIs, operational budgets, and technology service delivery
  • Ability to support critical incidents outside normal business hours and travel occasionally to regional offices as needed
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4 Foundation, PMP, Microsoft Azure certifications, Security+, or CISSP are preferred
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment, including familiarity with legal technology platforms, is preferred
