Lead the Compliance Department for the firm and ensure business is conducting its business in full compliance with all federal laws and client regulations.
Create, review and implement policies and procedures and best practices within the industry.
Apply and interpret audit and compliance requirements for various departments.
Review and input into the development of relevant policies and procedures.
Assess business future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
Day-to-day management of the compliance system.
Review regulatory change after implementation.
Conduct internal reviews and audits.
Advise internal management and business partners on implementation of compliance programs.
Review marketing materials for compliance with legal requirements.
Provide advice and leadership on compliance issues and follow up on issues requiring investigation.
Evaluate compliance systems and ensure adequate processes and procedures are in place.
Report on compliance and closely collaborate with HR to monitor enforcement of compliance regulations.
Train cross functional teams on compliance requirements.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance management, preferably in a legal or default services setting.
Strong understanding of client compliance requirements and processes.
Preferably familiar with client and case management systems including Case Aware, Black Knight, and Tempo.
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
Demonstrates a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
Capable of effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Must pass a background check and be able to provide two professional references.
