About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to maintain appropriate staffing levels that meet organizational demands.
  • Stay current on McLeod Health policies and procedures, with special attention to Employment Law under Federal and State Regulations.
  • Actively market the organization to attract qualified candidates at career fairs, classroom visits, interview sessions, and other outreach events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective talent across a variety of sourcing channels.
  • Thoroughly review and assess candidates for vacant positions as assigned, ensuring a strong match between candidate qualifications and organizational needs.
  • Keep applicants informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process regarding available employment opportunities.
  • Manage the full offer process and in-processing of newly hired candidates, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Verify that all new hire and transfer files meet the requirements of the Survey Readiness team.
  • Prepare and submit reports as requested to support data-driven workforce decisions.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support departmental initiatives as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • 0–3 years of related work experience in recruiting, human resources, or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Aptitude and adaptability to learn various software products and applicant tracking systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
  • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance.
