Healthcare Recruiter – Talent Acquisition

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with Hiring Managers to maintain appropriate staffing levels that meet organizational demands.
- Stay current on McLeod Health policies and procedures, with special attention to Employment Law under Federal and State Regulations.
- Actively market the organization to attract qualified candidates at career fairs, classroom visits, interview sessions, and other outreach events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective talent across a variety of sourcing channels.
- Thoroughly review and assess candidates for vacant positions as assigned, ensuring a strong match between candidate qualifications and organizational needs.
- Keep applicants informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process regarding available employment opportunities.
- Manage the full offer process and in-processing of newly hired candidates, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
- Verify that all new hire and transfer files meet the requirements of the Survey Readiness team.
- Prepare and submit reports as requested to support data-driven workforce decisions.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support departmental initiatives as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- 0–3 years of related work experience in recruiting, human resources, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Aptitude and adaptability to learn various software products and applicant tracking systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
- Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance.
