QA Engineer

• Define and implement the QA team structure to support Continuous Integration (CI) and delivery goals.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines for onshore and offshore QA teams.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop QA talent, ensuring skill alignment with automation, performance, and functional testing needs.
• Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement across distributed teams.
• Set measurable objectives for team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Own the test strategy for complex systems integrating hardware, software, and cloud platforms.
• Align QA processes with organisational objectives, CI/CD pipelines, and release schedules.
• Define governance for test planning, execution, and reporting to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Drive risk-based prioritisation and ensure robust coverage across functional and non-functional requirements.
• Plan and manage offshore QA resources to optimise cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate work allocation, communication, and progress tracking between onshore and offshore teams.
• Implement tools and processes for seamless collaboration across time zones.
• Ensure offshore teams have access to environments, data, and documentation for effective execution.
• When required, contribute hands-on to test design, automation scripting, and execution.
• Validate embedded software and real-time systems for high-performance applications.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical defects or environment issues.
• Represent QA in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness meetings.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager, Release Manager, Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps to clarify requirements and resolve blockers.
• Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders at all levels.

QA Lead

Product Manager

• Manage the full product development cycle for motorsport components—from concept and design to prototype, validation, and production
• Work closely with product management, business line, engineering and customers to translate product requirements into technical specifications
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, hardware, systems, embedded software and test engineers to deliver integrated hardware solutions
• Manage design validation, prototyping, testing and iteration cycles including customer validation and trackside support
• Drive the application of lightweight materials, thermal management, high-reliability electronics and robust embedded software in product designs
• Promote design for ease of manufacture, production lead time optimisation and creation of bespoke product variants
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring delivery under fast-paced and high-pressure timelines typical of motorsport
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure rapid and precise production of parts and systems
• Ensure all hardware meets relevant motorsport regulatory standards (e.g. FIA, IMSA)
• Instil appropriate project governance to coordinate ongoing project activities, critical project milestones, reporting of project status and escalations for assistance
• Continuously seek innovation opportunities in sensor technology, data acquisition, control systems, and materials

• Support customers use of Applied hardware, embedded software, off-car configuration and data analysis software
• Provide support at the track, remotely and at customer premises
• Represent the customer’s viewpoint within Motion Applied and influence product strategy
• Work with internal teams to push through issue resolution
• Assist with improving departmental procedures and knowledge base
• Take on development projects as required and drive these forward with minimal supervision
• Diagnose hardware and software problems, probing problems to objectively understand whether it is a failure of the system or its environment
• Recognise opportunity to add value with additional Applied products or solutions
