About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and scale applications that move specialty prescriptions through prior authorization faster
Design and develop robust, scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, and/or .NET
Partner with engineers and architects to design and implement Azure cloud solutions
Lead and coach team members through difficult problems
Build and maintain event-driven architecture
Turn complex business requirements into simple technical solutions
Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and mentor less experienced developers
Deliver high-quality work at a predictable cadence
Support production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
Participate in agile ceremonies, technical planning, and design reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree or equivalent experience
Typically 8+ years of relevant professional experience
8+ years building and shipping production software applications
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, and/or .NET
Experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure
Working knowledge of event-driven architecture, ideally including Kafka
Track record of using AI tools effectively in day-to-day development workflow
Ability to take a feature from ambiguous requirement to production with limited direction
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred: healthcare applications, particularly EHR integrations
Preferred: RPA technology
Preferred: FHIR standard, SMART on FHIR integrations, and healthcare data exchange
Preferred: CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Preferred: contributions to open source projects or developer communities
Must reside in or be willing to work from the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area; priority given to candidates residing there
