About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the field sales team in delivering a high-quality customer experience
  • Interact with pharmacy personnel, including Directors, Buyers, and other pharmacy staff
  • Manage customer relationships and develop existing business or accounts
  • Manage customer satisfaction and support problem resolution
  • Facilitate proactive communication between customers and McKesson teams
  • Perform sales and administrative tasks for small to mid-size accounts under supervisor direction
  • Negotiate or navigate the contracting process
  • Present products, solutions, or services to customers
  • Design solutions to meet customer needs
  • Work with the field sales team on the customer roadmap and renewal strategy
  • Interface with customers, field sales, and internal and external team members on customer support functions
  • Spend the majority of time at customer sites

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience
  • 4-year college degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel up to 75% by car
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Attention to detail, organizational, and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate organizational complexity and change
  • Advanced verbal, non-verbal/interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Energetic self-starter with a passion for customer service
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Healthcare or distribution experience preferred
  • Large percentage of computer-based work required
  • 75% travel within assigned territory
