About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct scheduled customer visits to assigned Post Acute Care customer locations throughout the territory
- Build trusted relationships with customer owners, operators, and key decision-makers
- Reinforce McKesson's value proposition and help customers maximize their partnership benefits
- Support new customer onboarding through training, presentations, and ongoing implementation account support
- Educate customers on product offerings, formulary updates, and product conversion initiatives
- Support utilization management and formulary compliance efforts for customers operating under PPD pricing models
- Identify customer concerns, service gaps, and growth opportunities, partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions
- Promote and sell approved products and solutions, including equipment, housekeeping products, and special-order items
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and National Account Managers on strategic sales and customer retention initiatives
- Maintain accurate customer activity records and communicate market feedback to internal teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Valid driver's license
- 7 year motor vehicle record check completed during pre-employment
- Ability to travel 3 to 4 days per week throughout the assigned territory
- Relationship-building skills and ability to establish customer trust and credibility
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Consultative approach to influencing customer behaviors and business outcomes
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage a territory effectively
- Customer-focused problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Professional and approachable presence with customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to learn healthcare products, technologies, and customer ordering systems
- Experience in customer service, retail sales, healthcare support, account management, or other customer-facing roles is an additional skill
- Experience managing multiple priorities and working across cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Ability to navigate change and adapt to evolving customer needs
