About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide ongoing support for Workday Payroll across business units
  • Gather requirements, support testing, and implement system enhancements and automation tools
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and user experience
  • Independently manage assigned tasks and projects
  • Develop and maintain desktop procedures and standard operating procedures
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations and functional specifications
  • Maintain payroll elements including earnings, deductions, and tax settings
  • Collaborate with Payroll Operations, HRIS, Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams
  • Communicate system updates and mitigate risks
  • Support system updates through test execution, documentation, and validation of payroll outputs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HRIS, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of payroll experience
  • 2 years supporting Workday Payroll and HCM preferred
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll configuration, testing, and reporting
  • Knowledge of payroll lifecycle and integrated systems such as Workday Time Tracking, ADP, and WFM
  • Understanding of payroll compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) integrations
  • Experience supporting multi-state or cross-border payroll preferred
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship now or in the future
