About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the customer service point of contact for the assigned US Oncology region and suppliers regarding payments, travel, expense, and purchasing inquiries
  • Respond to support cases from US Oncology Network practices and suppliers in Salesforce and ServiceNow
  • Monitor invoices through workflow and resolve exceptions
  • Support travel and expense report processing
  • Analyze data, reporting, and system insights to identify recurring root causes
  • Propose sustainable process improvements and automations to reduce manual effort and rework
  • Define, track, and execute quarterly operational objectives aligned to US Oncology Accounts Payable priorities
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive process improvements and provide support
  • Produce and analyze ad hoc reports and share recommendations and actionable insights
  • Ensure Accounts Payable activities comply with SOX requirements and support audit requests
  • Partner with Genpact on Level 2 escalations and inquiries
  • Coach Genpact and provide root-cause feedback and documented guidance
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure appropriate expense recording
  • Provide senior leaders with concise, data-driven updates on trends, escalations, risks, and improvement initiatives
  • Support departmental and enterprise Accounts Payable initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or equivalent and typically 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience automating processes
  • Experience with process improvement
  • Experience with data-driven root-cause analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial processes
  • Ability to ensure accuracy in financial reconciliation
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel reporting, analysis, and pivot tables
  • Digital fluency and ability to scale technology-enabled processes
  • Ability to use data and digitally enabled insights for decision-making
  • Ability to build trusted business partnerships and apply finance expertise and judgment
  • Ability to adapt quickly and translate transformation into practical action
  • Ability to collaborate with people, technology, and automation
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas simply using storytelling and data
