About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and business objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within enterprise accounts, including C-suite executives.
- Identify customer needs and challenges, and articulate how McKesson's products, services, and solutions can address them effectively.
- Lead complex sales cycles, from initial prospecting and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, legal, professional services) to ensure seamless client delivery and satisfaction.
- Conduct detailed business reviews with clients to demonstrate value, identify new opportunities, and ensure continued partnership.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and activity reporting within the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and McKesson's evolving portfolio of solutions.
- Represent McKesson at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in enterprise-level sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and navigate large, matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including providers, payers, and pharmaceutical companies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level executives.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce.com) and Microsoft Office Suite.
