About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead day-to-day operational performance for assigned applications/services
- Drive problem management and root-cause analysis practices
- Perform and guide technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation activities
- Partner with Application Development to coordinate release planning and deployment
- Define and mature monitoring strategies and service health indicators
- Ensure DR plans are accurate and executed
- Establish governance structures and ensure adherence to security standards
- Provide full people-leadership accountability including hiring and performance management
- Own workforce planning, forecasting, and budget inputs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or equivalent experience
- Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience
- 1+ years of supervisory or management experience
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, application support, infrastructure operations, or production engineering
- Strong expertise in incident, problem, and change management within a regulated environment
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive root cause remediation to measurable outcomes
- Experience owning complex operational delivery across technical teams
- Executive-level communication skills
- Broad technical foundation across production environments
