About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the creation of the valuation analysis for M&A opportunities
- Actively manages the M&A due diligence process
- Communicates key operating and valuation drivers to senior leadership
- Own the preparation of financial schedules included in M&A to Senior Leadership and Board of Directors
- Develops relationships with relevant internal stakeholders across the enterprise
- Perform other ad hoc analysis, as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires 10 years of experience
- 5+ years Valuation, M&A and transaction advisory experience
- Capability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction
- Good understanding of transaction documents
- Financial reporting knowledge including: income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
- Exceptional financial modeling skills including: weighted average cost of capital (WACC) calculation, discounted cash flow modeling, market multiple analysis, leveraged buyout analysis
- Exceptional communications skills
- Excellent PC skills with a solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Preference in having experience using Capital IQ
