Lead new business sales efforts for Biologics by McKesson focused on Specialty Pharmacy and Patient Support Services partnerships with biopharma
Proactively engage the biopharma and biotech industry to establish strategic partnerships and drive new business growth in oncology, rare diseases, and advanced therapies
Continuously monitor the oncology, rare disease, and advanced therapy markets for critical events
Work closely with Business Development Operations to support therapeutic pipeline monitoring, RFP delivery and execution, solutions consultation and collateral development
Prepare and deliver detailed overviews of Biologics’ capabilities to prospective customers, including high-stakes RFP bid defenses and finalist presentations
Drive engagement and collaboration across the Biologics multidisciplinary team, including leadership, to support business development initiatives
Attend industry conferences and meetings to deepen relationships and keep Biologics strategic value top of mind to prospective customers
Own large and complex tasks while ensuring appropriate reporting to BD leadership
Requirements
Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related fields preferred or applicable real-world experience in field
Advanced degree in business or healthcare related fields a bonus
4+ years of professional experience in the management or sale of services directly to biopharma customers, with knowledge of specialty pharmacy, market access, trade, patient services and specialty product marketing in oncology and rare disease
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in leading relationship development and strategic partnership engagement with a focus on specialty pharmacy services within the biopharma or biotech industry
Highly driven to generate and lead frequent customer-facing meetings
Ability to learn complex material quickly and compellingly package it for external consumption via presentations
Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and proactive project management
People-savvy collaborator with the confidence to manage multiple stakeholders
Preferred: Oncology or Rare Disease industry experience, preferably within the specialty pharmacy market, with a focus in client management or business development directly with biopharma
Proficient with Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as project management platforms such as Smartsheet and CRMs, like Salesforce or HubSpot
Commitment to establishing a deep knowledge of company products and services
Able to travel domestically 25% of the time
Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted – This position is not eligible for sponsorship

Base pay range: $69,800 - $116,300
Other compensation may include an annual bonus
