About the role
- Collaborate directly with the client and account operations teams to understand and refine their data needs, prioritize deliverables, and provide clear, realistic timelines
- Design, develop and iterate self-service analytics tools such as Tableau dashboards to provide stakeholders with visibility into program KPIs, performance metrics, and the patient journey
- Validate and interpret data using techniques from simple aggregation to complex data mining; demonstrate understanding of large, complex relational data sources
- Continually assess data quality and coordinate with IT and Data Engineering teams to correct source data or create semantic layer sources
- Apply appropriate analytic methods while accounting for data nuances, caveats, and limitations
- Research and adopt best practices for business data analysis via literature, training and professional development
- Support continuous improvement by developing and monitoring process and performance metrics
- Refine vague asks into clear hypotheses, criteria and objectives while keeping the larger picture in mind
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience in an analytics role
- Proficiency in SQL
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake)
- Proficiency in Excel and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in delivering analytic findings to audiences with varied technical understanding
- Ability to manage expectations and communicate effectively with external clients and internal stakeholders
- Experience in becoming and serving as a subject matter expert (SME) on a given data domain
- Experience with Tableau Prep is preferred
- Familiarity with Python
- Knowledge of healthcare and biopharma industry
