About the role
- Lead and manage a team of oncology account managers, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow revenue and increase customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Monitor and analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs, address any issues, and ensure their success and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and changes in the healthcare landscape to inform decision-making and strategy development.
- Participate in business development activities to identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
Requirements
- Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience
- 4+ years of management experience
- 7+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the healthcare industry
- 4+ years of experience leading people preferred
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, as well as industry trends and changes
- Experience in healthcare including distribution services, technology, and/or group purchasing organization required
