About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage a team of oncology account managers, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow revenue and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs, address any issues, and ensure their success and satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and changes in the healthcare landscape to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  • Participate in business development activities to identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience
  • 4+ years of management experience
  • 7+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • 4+ years of experience leading people preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, as well as industry trends and changes
  • Experience in healthcare including distribution services, technology, and/or group purchasing organization required
  • Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted – This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
