About the role
- Support the delivery of productized interoperability capabilities by executing against an established product strategy and prioritized backlog
- Partner closely with the Technical Product Manager, engineering teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate requirements into well‑defined user stories
- Own and maintain a prioritized technical backlog aligned to product goals, OKRs, and platform standards
- Facilitate backlog refinement, estimation, sequencing, and scope trade‑off discussions with engineering
- Partner with engineering to remove blockers and ensure predictable, high‑quality delivery
- Maintain a living catalog of functional and non‑functional requirements for the assigned product area
- Actively engage security and compliance partners to meet organizational standards
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or equivalent engineering role in healthcare or health IT
- Software or systems engineering background, or equivalent technical degree
- Experience working with EMR systems and provider-facing healthcare technologies
- Working knowledge of interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7
- Experience operating within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Familiarity with CMS interoperability requirements and healthcare data exchange concepts
- Ability to travel up to 10%
