Key responsibilities & impact

Support the delivery of productized interoperability capabilities by executing against an established product strategy and prioritized backlog
Partner closely with the Technical Product Manager, engineering teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate requirements into well‑defined user stories
Own and maintain a prioritized technical backlog aligned to product goals, OKRs, and platform standards
Facilitate backlog refinement, estimation, sequencing, and scope trade‑off discussions with engineering
Partner with engineering to remove blockers and ensure predictable, high‑quality delivery
Maintain a living catalog of functional and non‑functional requirements for the assigned product area
Actively engage security and compliance partners to meet organizational standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
4+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or equivalent engineering role in healthcare or health IT
Software or systems engineering background, or equivalent technical degree
Experience working with EMR systems and provider-facing healthcare technologies
Working knowledge of interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7
Experience operating within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
Familiarity with CMS interoperability requirements and healthcare data exchange concepts
Ability to travel up to 10%
