About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the delivery of productized interoperability capabilities by executing against an established product strategy and prioritized backlog
  • Partner closely with the Technical Product Manager, engineering teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate requirements into well‑defined user stories
  • Own and maintain a prioritized technical backlog aligned to product goals, OKRs, and platform standards
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, estimation, sequencing, and scope trade‑off discussions with engineering
  • Partner with engineering to remove blockers and ensure predictable, high‑quality delivery
  • Maintain a living catalog of functional and non‑functional requirements for the assigned product area
  • Actively engage security and compliance partners to meet organizational standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or equivalent engineering role in healthcare or health IT
  • Software or systems engineering background, or equivalent technical degree
  • Experience working with EMR systems and provider-facing healthcare technologies
  • Working knowledge of interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7
  • Experience operating within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
  • Familiarity with CMS interoperability requirements and healthcare data exchange concepts
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
