About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legal advice on advertising, promotions, and marketing communications for digital, social media, mobile, influencer, and omnichannel campaigns
- Provide legal guidance and recommendations regarding AI‑generated marketing content
- Advise stakeholders on the legal, privacy, and regulatory implications of advertising and marketing technology platforms
- Counsel on compliance with FTC regulations, state and federal consumer protection laws
- Support the lawful use of customer data platforms, analytics, and measurement tools
- Negotiate and draft agreements with ad networks, publishers, and data providers
- Act as a proactive, solutions‑oriented partner to marketing and technology teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years as a practicing attorney with firm and/or in-house experience
- Significant experience in advertising technology, privacy, consumer protection, and marketing law
- Member of a U.S. state bar in good standing
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Demonstrated comfort independently leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency, insight, or output in day‑to‑day work
