About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans for contracts across multiple GPO programs
  • Lead strategic planning sessions with members to align goals with economic success and contract optimization
  • Act as a strategic liaison with biopharma partners, collaborating with Business Development Directors
  • Deliver financial modeling and scenario planning to identify opportunities for improved economics
  • Drive innovation of new projects and initiatives that lead industry change and deliver measurable economic impact
  • Present regularly to GPO leadership on strategic initiatives, contract performance, and market dynamics
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Clinical Specialists, and internal teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Economics, Finance, or related field)
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant healthcare experience, including strategic planning, financial analysis, and provider engagement
  • Previous GPO experience and biopharma engagement strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives with significant impact on provider economics and organizational growth.
