About the role

  • Lead the development and execution of product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for the specialty portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational and functional goals.
  • Support and enhance product activities across all stages of the lifecycle, including new product introduction, enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Serve as the primary product connector across engineering, architecture, design, manufacturing, test, quality, and operations to ensure successful delivery to production.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Product Owners, including goal setting, performance management, and career development.
  • Establish and track team goals, metrics, and KPIs; report on project status, risks, timelines, and resource needs to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with peer leaders to manage dependencies, prioritize work, and allocate resources across products, projects and teams.
  • Ensure product management artifacts and outputs meet established quality standards and follow defined PDLC processes and Agile best practices.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or STEM field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong (7-9 years) product lifecycle management experience, including planning, delivery, and ongoing optimization of complex products.
  • Experience (7-9 years) managing and developing product support talent, including performance management and coaching.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and make data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product strategy, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong handle on PDLC tools to driving process improvement and execution excellence (e.g. JIRA).
