About the role
- Provide architectural guidance and best practices in designing and developing tools to enable ServiceNow cloud capabilities for McKesson Technology
- Establish, integrate, and evolve best practice processes in ServiceNow
- Provide input to the ServiceNow cloud enablement roadmap including onboarding integrations, processes, assets
- Design and implement cloud enablement workflows; foster reporting and analytics
- Lead technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow module features and platform capabilities
- Direct and guide prototyping and accelerate time from design to deployment
- Partner with enterprise architecture and stakeholders to align with MT standards, frameworks, and policies
- Advise on configuration and coding standards; support remediation of non-aligned configurations
- Oversee cloud-related capabilities and workflows focused on core features, integrations, and data flows
- Partner with cloud engineering to design and deliver workflows that accelerate cloud transformation
- Develop and maintain detailed solution architecture documentation and participate in training and enablement activities
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of professional / technical experience
- Experience in IT architecture, IT Service Management and/or Cloud computing roles
- Understanding and experience implementing and supporting the IT Operations Management capabilities of ServiceNow, including integrations, workflows, and service catalogs
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform data model, especially CMDB and shared tables
- Strong technical foundation in the Now Platform, either as an administrator or developer
- Knowledge and experience in database design schemas, database modeling, and cloud application technology
- Requirements gathering and facilitation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., ITIL credentials, ServiceNow certifications) strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
