About the role
- Provides category management and strategic sourcing for the Technology – Software category
- Responsible for establishing the enterprise-wide category plan and leading sourcing events at global, regional, and business unit levels
- Leverage knowledge of world class best practices in Software procurement to present market opportunities to internal customers and guide sourcing decisions
- Work with internal stakeholders on current and future IT objectives and business opportunities
- Negotiate world class supplier agreements with Business Units, IT stakeholders, and other Shared Services
- Create RFI, RFP, and other sourcing materials
- Generate savings through various sourcing techniques
- Research industry trends
- Support Senior Category Manager(s) in creating an annual Category Strategy
- Contribute to a Supplier Relationship Management program for top strategic suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company and department policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years Relevant Experience
