About the role

  • Lead the development of custom Salesforce applications.
  • Understand when to extend Salesforce using declarative development (Flows, App Builder, Page layouts, Custom Objects) and when to customize using code written in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions that align with business goals and Salesforce best practices.
  • Leverage AI-powered Salesforce tools such as Agentforce, Einstein GPT, Einstein Bots, and predictive analytics to enhance user experience and business insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party tools.
  • Oversee code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Salesforce environment.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, AI capabilities, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration
  • Advanced proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce Flows
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security
  • Experience with integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect) are a plus
  • Proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments
  • Engage in Agile/SAFe processes like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to scaled agile ceremonies and workflows.
