About the role
- Lead the development of custom Salesforce applications.
- Understand when to extend Salesforce using declarative development (Flows, App Builder, Page layouts, Custom Objects) and when to customize using code written in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Design and implement scalable solutions that align with business goals and Salesforce best practices.
- Leverage AI-powered Salesforce tools such as Agentforce, Einstein GPT, Einstein Bots, and predictive analytics to enhance user experience and business insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party tools.
- Oversee code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Salesforce environment.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, AI capabilities, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce Flows
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security
- Experience with integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) and REST/SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect) are a plus
- Proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments
- Engage in Agile/SAFe processes like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to scaled agile ceremonies and workflows.
