About the role
- Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test scripts
- Develop effective test data management strategies for automated test suites
- Support and maintain the test automation framework and processes
- Work as an integral member of an agile development squad
- Partner with Product Owners to define and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with development and product teams to create robust testing and automation strategies
- Create and manage detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Validate deployments and ensure smooth releases
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements
- Coordinate tasks with onshore and offshore team members to meet project goals
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering preferred
- 6+ years in software quality assurance
- 6+ years developing automated tests or programming in languages such as Java
- 5+ years in Agile SDLC with focus on CI/CD
- 6+ years in automation testing using Java, Selenium, TestNg
- 4+ years in API testing and automation (Rest Assured, Postman)
- 6+ years in backend testing using various database tools
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and build tools like Maven
- Experience with test management tools and processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with version control tools (BitBucket, GitHub, Git Bash)
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Healthcare software/compliance experience is a plus.
