About the role
- Lead and develop a team supporting patient access, reimbursement, and affordability programs
- Oversee daily workflows, staffing, training, performance, and escalations
- Provide direct oversight of reimbursement workflows (benefits, PAs, appeals, PAP)
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex access and claim issues
- Optimize referral-to-approval workflows to reduce time to therapy
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Implementation, and Client Teams
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and SOP requirements
- Support client discussions with operational and reimbursement insights
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Typically requires 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience
- Reimbursement experience including, benefit verification, prior authorizations, appeals patient affordability / PAP programs
- Demonstrated ability to coach teams through complex reimbursement and access scenarios with direct ownership of daily workflow, escalations, and performance
- Experience analyzing operational and financial performance data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
