About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Senior Event Manager / Project Manager (m/f/d) based in Berlin, you plan and manage creative live experiences and complex event projects end-to-end — from the initial idea to successful completion.
- You take the lead in implementing creative event concepts and are responsible for overall project control with regard to scope, timing, budget, quality and risks.
- You build and maintain sustainable relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders.
- You lead interdisciplinary project teams professionally through all project phases, often without direct line-manager responsibility.
- You coordinate and manage all suppliers, partners and teams involved in your projects.
- You prepare cost estimates, take responsibility for budgets, identify project risks early and steer business decisions in the company’s interest.
- You communicate confidently with clients, managers and top management.
- You continuously develop our live, online and hybrid formats, contribute new ideas and actively shape cross-departmental projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial/business training or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in event management, including contract negotiations, pitches, budgeting and leading small teams
- Confident command of German and English (spoken and written)
- Proficient in common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Team-oriented, structured working style, consulting, negotiation and problem-solving skills, and business acumen
- Willingness to travel (approx. 15% of the role)
