Senior Project Manager – Meetings and Events

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Senior Event Manager / Project Manager (m/f/d) based in Berlin, you plan and manage creative live experiences and complex event projects end-to-end — from the initial concept to successful completion.
- Implementer & Project Controller: You take the lead in executing creative event concepts and are responsible for overall project control regarding scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
- Consultant & Stakeholder Manager: You build and expand lasting relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders. You advise confidently, moderate project meetings, and manage complex stakeholder landscapes — internal and external — both in projects and pitches.
- Leadership: You provide professional leadership to interdisciplinary project teams through all project phases, often without direct line-management responsibility.
- Organizational Talent & Executor: You coordinate and manage all service providers, partners, and teams involved in your projects.
- Commercial Mindset: You prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, identify project risks early, and drive business decisions in the company's best interest.
- Communicator & Conflict Resolver: You communicate confidently with clients, executives, and top management.
- Idea Generator: You continuously develop our live, online, and hybrid formats, contribute new ideas, and actively shape cross-functional projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in event management, including contract negotiations, pitches, budgeting, and leading small teams
- Confident communication skills in German and English (verbal and written)
- Proficient in common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Team-oriented, structured working style, advisory, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, business acumen
- Willingness to travel (approx. 15% of the role)
