About the role
- As a Junior Project Manager (m/f/d) you plan and manage creative live experiences for national and international clients — from intimate events to large-scale productions.
- Implementer: You take the lead in turning creative event concepts into reality — delivering unique events and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Advisory role: You build and develop client relationships within your projects, provide tailored guidance and lead project meetings.
- Strong organizer: You coordinate and manage all service providers involved in your events and plan resource allocation for your project teams.
- Commercial acumen: You prepare cost estimates and proposals, monitor budgets and handle project invoicing — including reporting and documentation.
- Idea generator: You continuously develop our live, online and hybrid formats and contribute to cross-team projects.
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Ideally some professional experience in event management, including contract negotiations, pitches and budgeting
- Confident communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
- Proficient in common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Team-oriented with a structured working style; strong advisory, negotiation and problem-solving skills; commercial/business mindset
- Willingness to travel
Benefits
- Collaborative environment: Flat hierarchies, appreciative leadership and transparent decision-making — here what matters is your ability, not your title.
- Truly flexible work: No core working hours, home office and in many roles location-independent work — for greater freedom.
- Learning & development that’s enjoyable: From Learning Weeks with top speakers, AI courses on our Switch platform, to LinkedIn training including a paid photoshoot — we want to help you grow.
- Culture that connects: Table football evenings, team challenges, our big annual Celebrate party and regular feel-good activities — for community and team spirit.
- International projects with a wow factor: Our talent works on exciting projects — from Vienna and Madrid to Namibia — with constantly new challenges.
- Mental health & wellbeing in focus: Through OpenUp we offer access to sessions with psychologists, coaching and meditation — because your mental health matters.
- Sustainability with real impact: Our CSR team actively supports the environment and society through cleanup campaigns, donation projects, our MCI book club and more — sustainability is a commitment, not a trend.
- Equality is a given: We offer fair pay bands and no gender pay gap — equal opportunity and diversity are part of our culture.
- An office that feels like home: Modern tech, comfortable seating areas, phone booths, a swing seat — we provide everything to help you reach your potential.
- Oh, and your furry friend is welcome too!
- More than just a salary: 30 days of vacation for full-time, paid special leave, JobRad leasing, subsidy for the Deutschlandticket — so you get the support you want.
- Family-friendly in practice: We know family comes first. Whether parental leave, childcare subsidies or short-term time off — we support you so you can be there for your family without professional compromises.
- Networking and exchange for young professionals: We offer mentoring programs and regular peer meetups — for a strong start to your career and valuable connections.
