About the role
- Implementation lead: You take creative event concepts and lead their execution — delivering unique events and satisfied clients.
- Trusted advisor: You build and develop client relationships within your projects, advise and guide them as needed, and lead project meetings.
- Organizational talent: You coordinate and manage all suppliers involved in your events and plan the resources for your project teams.
- Commercial operator: You prepare costings for new proposals, monitor your budgets and handle project accounting — including reporting and documentation.
- Idea driver: You continuously develop our live, online and hybrid formats and contribute to cross-team projects.
Requirements
- Completed commercial (business) training or an equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in event management, including contract negotiations, pitches, budgeting and leading smaller teams
- Confident command of German and English (spoken and written)
- Proficient in common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Team-oriented, structured working style, advisory, negotiation and problem-solving skills, and a business-minded approach
- Willingness to travel (approx. 15% of the role)
Benefits
- Equality and respect: Flat hierarchies, appreciative leadership and transparent decision-making — here what counts is your ability, not your title.
- Truly flexible working: No core working hours, home office and, in many roles, location-independent work — for greater freedom in your job.
- Learning & development that’s fun: Learning Weeks with top speakers, AI courses on our Switch platform or LinkedIn trainings with a paid photoshoot — we want to help you grow.
- A culture that connects: Foosball evenings, team challenges, our big annual Celebrate party and regular feel-good activities — for more community and team spirit.
- International projects with a wow factor: Our talents work on exciting projects — from Vienna to Madrid to Namibia — with ever-new challenges.
- Mental health & wellbeing in focus: With OpenUp we offer access to sessions with psychologists, coaching and meditation — because your mental health matters to us.
- Sustainability with real impact: Our CSR team drives cleanup actions, donation projects, our MCI book club and much more — sustainable action is our mindset, not a trend.
- Equal pay and opportunity: We offer fair salary bands and no gender pay gap — equal opportunity and diversity are part of how we operate.
- An office that feels like home: Modern technology, cozy seating areas, phone booths, a swing seat — we provide everything to help you perform at your best.
- And yes: Your furry friend is welcome too!
- More than just a salary: 30 days annual leave (full-time), paid special leave, bike leasing (JobRad), subsidy for the Deutschlandticket — so you get the support you want.
- Family-friendly in practice: We know family comes first. Whether parental leave, childcare allowances or short-term leave — we support you so you can be there for your family without compromising your career.
