About the role

  • You develop AI-powered web applications and services for internal teams and client projects — with a focus on Python backend, LLM API integration, and database connectivity.
  • You systematically turn prototypes into production-ready, long-term solutions.
  • You implement server-side logic in Python, integrate LLM APIs and other systems via interfaces, and ensure clean, traceable code structure.
  • You build simple web interfaces for internal tools or prototypes, connect them to the backend, and ensure functionality and user-friendliness.
  • You analyze errors, make adjustments, and ensure the smooth operation of your applications — including deployment to server or cloud environments.
  • You work on proofs of concept, test new approaches, and gradually transition them into permanent, usable solutions.

Requirements

  • Backend proficiency in Python: You are proficient in Python and have experience developing web applications or APIs, ideally with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
  • AI and API experience: You have worked with LLM APIs before or are eager to dive deep into these technologies.
  • Data understanding: You are comfortable working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and know the basics of data modeling.
  • Frontend basics: You can implement simple web interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, or you are willing to learn modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Version control & deployment: You work routinely with Git and team workflows and have initial experience deploying applications to servers or cloud environments.
  • Security awareness: You handle authentication, API keys, and sensitive data responsibly and pay attention to secure, stable applications.
  • Structured working style: You can translate business requirements into technical solutions, work independently and reliably, and keep your processes clear and traceable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: You identify dependencies, find pragmatic approaches, and develop stable, usable solutions.
  • Eagerness to learn & passion for technology: You are interested in generative AI, modern web development, and cloud services, and are motivated to continuously develop your skills.
  • Languages: You speak German well and English very well.
