About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serves as primary finance partner for assigned client accounts, building and managing scopes, estimates, and budgets across retainers, projects, and production.
- Monitors client profitability, ensures accurate revenue recognition, and flags financial risks early with proposed solutions.
- Collaborates with Brand and Production teams on scoping and pricing work, participating in client conversations requiring financial clarity or negotiation.
- Prepares monthly client forecasts, variance analysis, and translates financial data into actionable insights for agency-wide reporting and planning.
- Oversees client billing processes, ensures contracts and SOWs are financially sound, and continuously improves financial processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 5-8 years of finance experience in advertising agency, creative studio, or similar environment required
- Experience with agency forecasting models and revenue recognition best practices preferred
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficient with agency tools and systems including forecasting, time tracking, and financial reporting platforms
