About the role
- Independently manage all aspects of project cradle-to-grave administration
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-award oversight
- Serve as the primary project financial liaison
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and other funders regulations
- Collaborate with project management team(s) on financial strategic goals
- Supervise project finance staff and enhance their skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and GAAP
- Expert knowledge of USG Rules and Regulations and FAR
- Demonstrated experience in financial management and accounting
- Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
