About the role
- Provide support to the Operations Department and the Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- Assist in a variety of areas within Corporate Services
- Support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in developing the annual Operations Department work plan
- Provide structured operational support to U.S. Programs and International Programs country offices
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle
- Oversee accurate tracking of stock movements and ensure inventory management systems and asset registers are consistently updated
- Liaise with the travel agency on the coordination of local and international travel arrangements for staff and consultants
- Maintain statutory records, licenses, and compliance documents in an organized and accessible manner
- Develop training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational guidance tools for U.S. and International Programs teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, international relations, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing the operations aspects of a non-profit
- Experience working with countries beyond the U.S. preferred
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of donor-funded technical, financial, and procurement regulations, including 2 CFR 200 and FAR
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Solid analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills required; must be fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
- Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus
- Working knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, or French is a plus.
