About the role

  • Provide support to the Operations Department and the Chief Operating Officer (COO)
  • Assist in a variety of areas within Corporate Services
  • Support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in developing the annual Operations Department work plan
  • Provide structured operational support to U.S. Programs and International Programs country offices
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle
  • Oversee accurate tracking of stock movements and ensure inventory management systems and asset registers are consistently updated
  • Liaise with the travel agency on the coordination of local and international travel arrangements for staff and consultants
  • Maintain statutory records, licenses, and compliance documents in an organized and accessible manner
  • Develop training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational guidance tools for U.S. and International Programs teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, international relations, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing the operations aspects of a non-profit
  • Experience working with countries beyond the U.S. preferred
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of donor-funded technical, financial, and procurement regulations, including 2 CFR 200 and FAR
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills required; must be fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, or French is a plus.
