About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead large projects or multiple project teams from start to finish with limited oversight
  • Own project success, including customer satisfaction, client engagement, profit and loss, risk management, operations, and project-team leadership and development
  • Develop project management and financial plans, budgets, bid packages, and procurement processes
  • Lead bid evaluations, trade partner buyouts, project setup, documentation, and logistics
  • Manage self-perform strategy, production rates, budgets, schedules, procurement, and financial performance
  • Develop and execute project-specific Building Performance Solutions action plans
  • Lead mock-up processes, QAQC inspections, building-envelope coordination meetings, and corrective documentation
  • Support and enforce site-specific safety plans, safety walks, ORM documentation, risk mitigation, and hazardous-material survey reviews
  • Maintain project documentation, drawings, specifications, plans, photos, as-builts, meetings, procurement, RFIs, schedules, and budgets
  • Lead projection/deep-dive processes, project meetings, start-up meetings, action-item tracking, and schedule management
  • Build relationships with clients, design teams, trade partners, and associates; participate in community and professional associations
  • Coordinate weekly schedules with trade partners, vendors, and site staff; manage recovery plans, look-ahead schedules, sequencing, phasing, and master schedule updates
  • Review owner, trade partner, and insurance contracts; manage permits, delay documentation, field work directives, change orders, and risk mitigation
  • Own project financial success, budget setup and accuracy, monthly forecasting and reconciliation, pay applications, invoice reviews, and corrective budget measures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 6+ years’ experience
  • Proficiency in or ability to learn Procore and Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency in computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office
  • Ability to take a leadership role on projects from start to finish
  • Proven consistent track record of successful projects/project management
  • Proven track record of superior budget management and accurate monthly cost projections
  • Ability to develop project schedules and manage projects from beginning to end
  • Proven proactive approach to problem resolution and issues management
  • Demonstrated relationship skills
  • Ability to successfully manage more than one project at a time
  • Proficiency in running project-related meetings, including Progress, OAC, and pre-installation meetings
  • Ability to work in an office environment and construction job sites
