About the role
- Create and maintain compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for new and existing products.
- Ensure correct hazard classification and labeling in line with GHS/CLP/REACH.
- Provide SDS documentation to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Act as a key contact for SDS compliance, working closely with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Lead Quarterly Updates for EMEA and NA, including planning, testing, IT coordination, and issue resolution.
- Manage strategic customers or regulatory projects, leading cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues.
- Identify and communicate process improvements to management.
- Deliver internal trainings and provide regular status and progress reports.
Requirements
- University degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in the Food or Chemical industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a process-improvement mindset.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask and work with urgency.
- Clear and confident communicator; able to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Fluent English; additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian) are a plus.
- Advanced computer literacy (Excel, SAP, Outlook; Lotus Notes desirable).
- Familiarity with GHS, CLP, and REACH regulations.
- Ability to work in a 2-shift pattern ( 9-17; 14-22).
