About the role
- Provides strategic leadership for a function within a high performance plant/facility
- Has overall accountability for the performance of the function
- Leads team managers and/or staff to achieve exceptional business results
- Participates as an active member of the facility leadership team
- Collaborates with the Management team to plan, forecast and replenish McCormick products for customers
- Manages the overall control and movement of materials in and out of the plant location
- Directs and administers purchasing, production scheduling and control, inventory and warehouse stock control, sales order entry, customer service, traffic and shipping
Requirements
- BSc in Supply Chain/Logistics/Purchasing
- Minimum of 7-10 years functional/leadership experience
- Demonstrated significant and relevant skills and results in functional area
- Strong leadership experience with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and people
- Requires comprehensive understanding of the concepts and principles within their own functional area
- Superior understanding of planning systems, SAP purchasing protocol, MHPS, planning/inventory theories.
