About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform industry-leading pest management services for commercial customers
Inspect client properties for pest infestations, damage, and entry points
Identify pest types and determine appropriate treatments
Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps
Educate customers on pest prevention and maintaining pest-free environments
Advise customers on reducing the risk of future infestations
Build customer relationships and schedule and confirm appointments
Support sales to current customers and expand products to new customers
Maintain, stock, and inspect pest control equipment
Follow local, state, and federal pest control and safety regulations
Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle
Communicate with clients about pest control solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid driver's license from state of residence
Clean-shaven face required so respirators can seal properly
Available to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed
Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
Ability to present information in internal and external settings
Basic math skills, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to follow instructions for mixing products on labels
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
Customer-facing experience preferred
Ability to work in tight, confined spaces
Ability to work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
Ability to work inside and outside in the local climate
Ability to regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
