About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform industry-leading pest management services for commercial customers
  • Inspect client properties for pest infestations, damage, and entry points
  • Identify pest types and determine appropriate treatments
  • Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps
  • Educate customers on pest prevention and maintaining pest-free environments
  • Advise customers on reducing the risk of future infestations
  • Build customer relationships and schedule and confirm appointments
  • Support sales to current customers and expand products to new customers
  • Maintain, stock, and inspect pest control equipment
  • Follow local, state, and federal pest control and safety regulations
  • Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle
  • Communicate with clients about pest control solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license from state of residence
  • Clean-shaven face required so respirators can seal properly
  • Available to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed
  • Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present information in internal and external settings
  • Basic math skills, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to follow instructions for mixing products on labels
  • Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
  • Customer-facing experience preferred
  • Ability to work in tight, confined spaces
  • Ability to work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
  • Ability to work inside and outside in the local climate
  • Ability to regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
