Represent mortgage lenders and investor clients in commercial and residential foreclosure, title disputes and real estate litigation.
Make appearances in state and federal court for routine and contested hearings, reviewing incoming litigation and developing case strategy, drafting documents, and conducting settlement negotiations.
Manage case load of contested matters on behalf of residential and commercial mortgage lenders and investors.
Communicate with clients regularly for updates and case resolution.
Analyze loan files, title reports and other client documents. Draft motions and prepare written discovery and responses.

Requirements

What you’ll need

J.D. degree, licensed in Texas and in good standing with the Texas Bar
Minimum 2 years relevant Litigation experience
Minimum 2 years motion practice experience
Minimum 2 years courtroom experience
Knowledge of Texas Mortgage Foreclosure Law
Knowledge of Texas Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules
Previous experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property
