About the role
- Represent mortgage lenders and investor clients in commercial and residential foreclosure, title disputes and real estate litigation
- Make appearances in state and federal court for routine and contested hearings and trials
- Reviewing incoming litigation and developing case strategy
- Drafting documents and conducting settlement negotiations
Requirements
- J.D. degree, licensed in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Minimum 2 years relevant Litigation experience, 5 years preferred
- Minimum 2 years motion practice experience
- Minimum 2 years courtroom experience
- Knowledge of Florida Mortgage Foreclosure Law
- Knowledge of Florida Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules
- Previous experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property
