About the role

  • Collect requirements together with business teams, assess them technically and agree on realistic timelines
  • Manage and assure the quality of collaboration with external development agencies, conduct code reviews and sign off on deliverables
  • Develop and maintain Magento 2 modules and storefront features across multiple Magento instances and countries
  • Make architecture and design decisions to ensure scalable, maintainable codebases
  • Support international expansion (multi-store, multi-language, multi-currency, country-specific tax and shipping rules)
  • Establish and leverage AI in development processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in eCommerce
  • Strong PHP skills and confident object-oriented programming
  • Deep understanding of the Magento 2 module system
  • Strong communication skills: able to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and independently align requirements with business teams
  • Very good German (at least C1) for communication with internal teams and management
  • Good English, written and spoken, for ticketing and collaboration with external agencies
